History:
The Air Cargo Association was incorporated in1958 under the name Air Cargo Sales
Club, Inc.
It was founded by people who envisioned that with the introduction of jet aircraft, air
cargo would grow from a minor by-product of the airline industry into one of the major
sources of airline revenue today, as well as an all important mode of the world wide
goods transportation.
These air cargo pioneers knew the value of knowledge, both trade and technical.
Lectures, forms, panel discussions and trade shows were presented and held for
members in areas of sales techniques, equipment, and government agencies and
academia.

Objective::
To provide a forum for individuals in the air cargo industry to meet and exchange
views with other transportation personnel for the purpose of:
Trade and Commerce
Industrial Improvements
Education
Regulatory Information
Employment Opportunities
